Please note, to reach Neuschwanstein Castle there is a walking distance slightly uphill. Alternatively, for an additional fee to be paid directly to the local transport company, you can get on a horse-drawn carriage or shuttle bus followed by a short walk. Shuttle bus fee: adults - €3; children (7-12 years) - €1.50; children (0-6 years) - free. Horse-drawn carriage fee regardless of age: ascent €7, downhill €3.50
