Located in the heart of Marseille, the Mucem’s vibrant architecture and stunning concrete lace are perfect for an unforgettable snapshot. Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by storytelling exhibits that lead you through history, art and culture with rare artifacts, sculptures and more. Climb to the top of Fort Saint-Jean, built in 1660 by Louis XIV, and marvel at the panoramic views of the waterfront.

Afterwards, continue exploring the Panier district of Marseille with an audio tour. Enjoy 18 points of interest, including Maison Diamantée, Hôtel Dieu and much more.

The Mucem is open Wednesday to Monday from 10:00 am to 06:00 pm. Last entry is 45 minutes before closing
Opening hours may vary seasonally. May to June: 10:00 am - 07:00 pm; July to August: 10:00 am - 08:00 pm; September to October: 10:00 am - 07:00 pm; November to December: 10:00 am - 06:00 pm
Scan the QR code on your voucher to download the audio guide before arrival. Please note this audio guide is for the Panier district only, and an internal Mucem audio guide is not included
The Mucem is fully wheelchair accessible, and Fort Saint-Jean has some limited accessibility
