Att göra – Budaslottet
Det imponerande Budaslottet ligger på slottskullen i Budapest och erbjuder utsikt över den vackra Donau. Tidigare var slottet residens för de ungerska kungarna, men idag inrymmer slottskomplexet det ungerska nationalgalleriet, Budapests historiska museum och Széchenyi nationalbibliotek.
Grunden för dagens slott byggdes på 1400-talet. Slottet skulle senare belägras över 30 gånger och genomgick betydande förändringar i stil, renoveringar och rekonstruktioner genom åren.
Budaslottets huvudstruktur, även känd som det kungliga palatset, är en massiv byggnad i neo-barockstil. Interiören består av några rekonstruerade medeltida rum och är hem för två museer och biblioteket. Budapests historiska museum, beläget i Budas slott södra flygel, presenterar Budapests historia från dess början till den moderna eran. Det ungerska nationalgalleriet presenterar ungerska konstverk från 1100 -talet fram till idag. Széchenyi natioella bibliotek är en samling sällsynta och antika böcker.
Slottsdistriktet och slottet i sig tillhör världsarvet i Budapest. Slottet och det omgivande området är fullt av kultur och historia. Besökare kan njuta av det omgivande området genom att gå eller gå med på en guidad rrundtur för att titta närmare på slottet. Du kan ta dig till slottet antingen till fots, med buss eller med den välkända linbanan, som avgår från bron Széchenyi.
