Die Kos Highlights waren eine sehr schöne und informative Tour, die selbst unseren beiden Kindern (7 und 9 Jahre alt) gut gefallen hat. Der Guide war sehr gut und hatte auch bei Rückfragen keinerlei Probleme. Gut war auch, dass es nach jeder Führung immer noch genügend Zeit zur eigenen Verfügung gab. Die Headsets waren auch super, damit den Guide auch überall gut verstanden hat.
Kos packs in an astonishing amount of heritage for a small island. This exclusive half-day excursion will take you on a journey through time and bring ancient Greece to life. You'll start out in Kos town, then visit the historic Asclepeion and cap off your day in the pretty hilltop hamlet of Zia.
Kos town is dripping in history, with monuments from classical antiquity all the way through the Byzantine and Ottoman periods to the rationalism of the 1930s. You'll navigate the streets that lead you through the photogenic town with your guide and soak up its melting pot of architecture and sights during an informative walk.
Then, we'll head to the ruins of Asclepeion, at the top of a pine-clad hill boasting views over Kos town and Turkey beyond. Your guide will fill you in on this 2,500-year-old ‘temple of healing' and then you'll have time to wander around on your own before driving to Zia. Here, you'll have free time to visit the petting farm, browse the shops or nurse a cool drink in a taverna.
